what was it you needed to buy/bring that you forgot about until you needed it?

When I first moved out. I forgot cleaning supplies and stuff like shampoo and bar soap for the shower. I wasn't really getting paid much. So I had to play it safe.

I still got to find that out :P But at the end of the day when that does comes I will not be moving out I be in the same home alone afterwards. Just maybe if it goes well that I own the home outright

Two things: A shower curtain and a plunger.

Usually the essentials like towels, blankets and the like.

Never had to move out on my own, but when my family did a big movie we didn't stock up on enough cleaning stuff.

A corkscrew - celebratory bottle of wine on first evening and oops, no way to open it!

I think for me it's food equipment, like sieves, pans and such for cooking.

Definitely, it's good to have at least a couple of pans, it's surprising what you can make with just a couple of pans though if you are determined. :)

Usually it's something like cleaning supplies or certain bathroom products.

Something you won't think about till you need it.

Hmm, I didn't really forget much that I recall - but I needed quite a bit, so I spread it out several weeks/months and received a bit of help from family members.

The last thing that I needed and didn't have was a corkscrew, similar to @Ashlynn S, I recently bought a nice bottle of wine to celebrate a bit of family time as the lockdown has eased, the bottle had a cork and I had nothing to open it with! ?

Yeah. I only really need a couple. One deep pan, so I can boil my eggs and a frying pan. That's all I've ever needed.
