What’s something you should spend a little extra on?

Depends on what you looking at or what you are after or what. I would always spend extra on things that are better, rather than cheap crap that won't last. Like PC hardware I go with brands I want to go with, even that I had to spend double or more.

Same boat, i always buy Corsair stuff no matter their prize, i don't even want to go near other PSU brands for example.

Asus for me :)
Asus has pretty good motherboards, their TUF products line are solid for their value. Their GPUs also look nice since they have little to nothing of those fancy lights :P

No msi on this camp!

Seems that I always been with Asus, no idea but for years I always had no problems with them. TUF are good but I always go with the next series up and that's the ROG, you pay more for goodies I say.

Corsair are also good, I have ram, power block, AIO and SSD from them :) I always go with Corsair for cooling and memory :) and also Corsair AIO cooling.

Motherboard is from Asus as well as my GPU from Asus. My Laptop is also Asus :)

I've got the Asus Zenbook 14 and i have no complaints, it's super powerful and very cheap, a nice dedicated GPU (MX 450) and the latest Ryzen 7 cpu!

I always liked the ROG logo but actually never bought anything from that line, i will get the motherboard for the newest AM5 socket i guess.

A good desk chair and keyboard if you spend a lot of your day working at a desk. Or a standing desk.
