I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 which is a great phone. When my wife upgrades im going to give her iPhone XR a whirl see if I prefer that.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro
Good choice, glad that you are very happy. what made you go with it then over the Redmi Note 10? that's a newer and cheaper option.

I myself have a Redmi Note 10 Pro and with same size and specs just about LOL but paid far less.

Had to change up my vote since I've joined the dark side. Moved from the Galaxy S20 to the iPhone 13 Pro yesterday. It's pretty good so far although I do miss a few things that Android did better

I have the iPhone 11 but upgrading to the 13 in the next few weeks.

I think the best thing about Apple is the software updates for the older devices. It really does make keeping an old device worth it because you don't have to upgrade as often.

Some of the Android devices are pretty horrendous with software updates. Or they're super late. Android will get updated, but you have to wait a year for someone like Samsung to come out with their version of it.

Have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, but going to switch to a Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro when the funds are available.

I've only really used Samsung devices and honestly, they're not too bad with their flagship devices. But yeah, for the cheaper models, the update cycle is awful.

I’ve only owned either Samsung’s cheaper phones or their tablets.

I know I’m an unusual case with how many devices I own, so this doesn’t affect anybody, but it’s interesting seeing how both of these OS’s are treated with updates.

I have two of their tablets that are only a couple years apart, and software updates don’t come out at the same time, and not even the apps in the Samsung app store get updates at the same time. The apps in the Google Play Store do seem to get updates at the same time.

It’s kind of strange from me when I also have multiple Apple devices. So if you own an iPhone and iPad, those get updated at the same time. The same applies if you own multiple iPads or iPhones. If your product supports iOS/iPadOS version x.xxx, you are all getting that update.

You also have to deal with mobile carriers in certain countries. My Galaxy S20 that I just got rid of was unlocked so I got the software updates right away when Samsung released it for the device.

But if you get your device from a carrier, the update release date also depends on them which is just crazy really. I'm not sure why that is even a thing, to be honest.

Since I own wifi-only tablets, the carrier thing doesn’t affect me if that’s a thing here. It is interesting seeing the Android fragmentation from even the same manufacturer.

I have an IPhone 11 Pro and I absolutely love it. I got it when it first released. I don't imagine I will upgrade until the 14 comes out. Who knows, I may hold off until the 15 if they don't have any significant upgrades.

I now have a iPhone XR, and thankfully I haven't had any issues with it. I got this back in June of last year.

Hopefully, it won't have any big upgrades because I just got the 13 Pro and I don't want to get tempted by the 14. There are rumours that they might get rid of the notch though which would be quite interesting
