How many steps do you aim for every day? And do you go for a different target that the well-known target of 10,000 steps a day?

I don't count steps, I just aim to try and be active. After suffering tendon damage from cipro poisoning, I call it a success if I manage to walk for any genuine length of time. 10,000 steps one day, though!

I walk almost all day long in my job. Have no idea, however, how many steps I actually take in an 8 hour shift.

10K used to be the magic number. I'm lucky if I get half of that nowadays. I need to get back to it!

I know I am walking more thanks to my job, but I know its not enough. When it gets nicer out I'll have to do more walking.

What is anyone using to count how many steps they take in a day?

I don't exercise, but I walk around my home and the city/town while shopping. My average steps are low. Some days it's only 8,000, other days it goes down to 5,000, then again I have no idea. I live in a three-story home and My room is at top

Still trying to figure out what's a good step counter.

Do you think the "stepcounter" of a smartwatch is reliable? i don't think so.

I do 40 minutes of exercise per day, including muscle workouts and i'm doing pretty good.

I don't count my steps but we have a basement & upstairs & 10 acres that I walk on lol I tend to walk from here to there throughout the day.

I have not checked how many steps. All I know is I do brisk walking for about an hour or two every day.

I'm already on a weight loss journey so I try to move a lot. I think I take thousands of steps daily.

I don't count steps. I walk 30-45 min along the riverside every morning. I may also walk to the Mall for groceries shopping in the afternoon.
