Have you ever experienced losing an email address? And if so, how did you manage to lose it?

Other than just forgetting the password to old email accounts that I haven't used for a while, this is fortunately something that has not happened to me as yet.

Happened to me when I was cleaning up my email addresses. I got rid of one by accident. The next time I saw the person, I told them what happened and got their info. again.

I've lost a few email addresses by accidentally deleting them. However, I also have a printed out list of phone numbers & emails as a backup.

I've created some dummy emails over the years I no long know how to access, I know I setup a forum one for my site but I've also lost the info on how to access that one.

Did you use the cPanel to create the email accounts for your site? Should be relatively easy to recover them I think

As for me, I just forget the password and retrieve it. Then, I will change it.

I’ve created so many email accounts over the years. Back in the day, I used to create a Gmail account for every forum/site I made. I’ve been able to get back into plenty of them, but there’s a few where I’m not even certain that I know what exactly the email address even is.
