Which decade produced the best movies?

I would say the 1980s. Beetlejuice, Nightmare on Elm Street, Batman, Gremins, Ghostbusters, The Shining, Poltergiest... I could go on and on.
 
Like I said in the TV thread, I think I fall in the 90s/00s range, not just because that's when I watched the most movies, but because I feel like I connected with more movies in that time than when watching older or newer movies.
 
The 80’s, hands down, imo. I love 80’s movies very much mostly for the stories that they told. Any movie with any member of the “brat pack”, you knew it was going to be good. 🙂
 
there are good films every year even in 2023 and so it's hard to day ;) 1990s maybe
 
I think the present time. Most movies are good in terms of technical matters.
 
I would argue for the nineties. I've got so many favorite movies that came out in that time period, especially sports movies.
