How would you describe your voice? Is it quiet? Boisterous? Raspy? High-pitched? Whiney?

Disgusting. I hate my voice, because it isn't mine. My voice is stuck inside, never to be heard.

It still wouldn't be my voice, if that makes sense.

Here's the thing...what we hear in our heads is never what is actually our voices. When I hear myself on recordings, it's entirely different than what I hear in my head.

Oh I know, but neither voice represents me. The voice I hear is grotesque, the voice others hear is fine for man, but neither is my voice. Hard to explain, but when it contributes to your mental fragility something as pedantic as your voice really does bring you down.

I have a low voice that sounds cool when I sing songs. But it varies if I am in the mood for singing. I got the tone from my old man, who loves to sing.
