Hello, everyone. I am excited to announce that I have acquired the forum offtopix.com from Nebulous. Offtopix has a long-standing presence online and boasts a fantastic community. Many of its members are actively engaged in both OT and our group, which I believe will strengthen our connections even further.

I'm really on the fence about it. Both communities are the same.
If the people here do not care, maybe we will.

Definitely agree. They both have the same discussions and allows some of the add-ons from here to be used over there.

I wanted to buy this forum a while back and merge it into OT but I couldn't reach a deal with one of the former owners. Would be cool to see that actually happen, seems totally possible now. Doesn't make much sense to run two very similar forums, if it were one then @Jay™ could focus all his time and energy into that one forum. Thats just my thoughts on the matter though, don't mind me. :P

It's a very valid point, certainly makes sense!
 
Before we do that, I need to install a few add-ons that this site uses, we will work on this stuff during the holidays.
 
Congrats @Jay™ on being new owner. Are you really considering merging the two forums? What are the pros and cons of that? I don't have an opinion.
 
I did look at it, but it is one of those forums where you can’t really browse and see if it looks interesting unless you register to join. I am one of those people who likes to read the forum for a while and see if I think it will be a good fit for me with topics I am interested in.
I didn’t see anything that was about health at all, but maybe I missed that part. And it was the dark color that is hard for me to read.
