Do you loan out money?

I don't because I don't expect to get it back. But it can be worked for or for charity.

Some pay back but I don't want to risk it and I don't like the idea of being owed stuff anyway.

None of my friends ever paid me back, so I quit loaning out money. I have (however) given money to people, not expecting a return of any kind.

As a rule, NO!
But with the exception....to some of our kids.
I say 'some' because, of course, some have shown to be more reliable/responsible than others.

Loans dealt out by mobsters are dealt with discipline. You don't want loans from those types.

However, though, do you feel mainstream loaners are being taken advantage of by liars?
