The snooty professor on the comedy Back to School was right. The mean sergeant on Platoon was right. The list goes on and on
 
But was The Joker right?


I haven't seen the movie, but everyone has thier "feel sorry for me" story. Well, one of the saddest I heard was from Jackie Gleason. He was raised in poverty. His brother died in youth. His father abandoned the family and when Mr Gleason tried to fix his mom's infection, she died from sepsis.

Not all villains try to rationalize or justify their destructive behavior. Some of them are pretty insane and try to destroy nations or the world itself for poor reasons.
