I prefer selecting my own groceries; especially produce & meat.
So..........doing my own shopping.

I find it fun and relaxing going in but I'll often get a lot of stuff I don't really need whereas when I do online shopping I only look for what i need 🤦‍♀️

I don't do either, someone else shops for me but to answer the question, delivered as I don't like going out.

I do a lot of my grocery shopping online, and I actually prefer it to going to the supermarket. The main reason is that it's much easier to read the labels at home, so I don't have to worry about holding people up in a busy aisle while I'm trying to read. I know 'click and collect' is an option, but that doesn't work for me as I don't drive.
The only thing I don't like ordering online is fruit and vegetables. For that reason, I usually just get the basics delivered and then go out to to buy most of my fresh produce.
So, if I had to choose only one, I would definitely pick grocery delivery.

I have been all about getting my groceries delivered lately.

If I did not drive & needed to depend on public transportation, I'm sure that my answer to the question would be totally different. Maybe even exactly like yours ;).

I still go out a lot to buy things from places like Costco and ALDI, as there aren't many good delivery options for them. I can't complain, though, because my son takes me if I ask.

Ah, that's good!
Just an FYI; A fairly recent change here is that Costco now will deliver orders, so maybe your Costco will soon.

They have DoorDash available for Costco here now, but I don't see any point in paying for it. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of DoorDash anyway.

The main reason is that I live very close to a Costco, only about five minutes away. Also, my son gets his petrol there often because it's cheaper, so he can easily grab things for me while he's there sometimes.

I have not heard about a Door Dash/Costco connection here; I would not be interested either anyhow. :p
At least you don't have to trust some stranger to pick out your bananas for you; your son probably knows exactly how you like them if you need to ask him to pick some up for you. :D
