    About $20/month for the server, and that's it. MyBB has worked out great for us, we've been able to customize it quite a bit over the years.

    I can, but I don't cook as much as I used to. I used to make one huge meal and store it in the fridge, and would eat it for lunch every day during that week. That was part of how I got through college on a tight budget, but now I like variety a bit too much to eat the same thing every single day. :P

    We've considered it before. MyBB is still working very well for us, but it's not out of the question long term!

    This is part of why I don't mind using a fairly "bare bones" software like MyBB. I had to develop a couple of features myself (the status updates feature was one of them, we custom coded it because no plugins like it existed), but it otherwise mostly focuses on the forum and less on the bells...
