Fightful Select reported that Wardlow sustained an injury, and it is feared he suffered a torn pectoral muscle. Wardlow returned to AEW at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, joining the Don Callis Family. He had been off TV since March 2023 due to injury and filming “American Gladiators.” It is unknown how long he will be sidelined. We wish him the best in his recovery.

I go into Wardlow's terrible luck with injuries, but also booking and outside influence thanks to Tony Khan ignoring him, MJF overshadowing Wardlow's big win with his AEW contract drama and also CM Punk vs Adam Page becoming the talk of the wrestling world.
