How long can you wait on HOLD?

It depends on how motivated I am, I suppose. If the issue is billing related and I'm trying to get money back, I will play the game and stay on hold forever. When someone picks up, I'm going full Karen though. I will be letting them know how long I've been on hold and how ridiculous it is. My last absolutely terrible experience was when I was trying to fix my DISH Network bill. I ended up cancelling that as soon as my two year contract was up.
