The question just reminds me of words from a very old song from a very old movie: "You got to have a dream; if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?" - from South Pacific
:D

My dream is getting into writing, animation, the works. . . haha, an impossible wish

Yes I still follow my dreams to the latter, even though it's not easy. Sometimes I wake up and I feel gingered to go extra mile to achieving my dreams. Other days, I won't be totally confused and even ask myself how did I involve myself in this kind of dream. 🤣 I’ve changed some of my goals though, because adulthood gets in the way.

Right now, the only dream I'm following very well with everything in me is to make more money and give myself the best comfort and pleasure life have got to offer the world.

My dream is to have a bigger place like a condo and have 2 more cats, but I'm not able to follow that dream due to lack of funding and medical expenses.

Man, that's a loaded question lol. I think I'm in that weird phase where some of my original dreams evolved or got replaced by more realistic ones, which feels both like growing up and giving up depending on the day.

Like, I used to have this fantasy of being a travel writer - living out of a backpack, writing about cool places, basically getting paid to have adventures. That dream is pretty much dead now because the travel writing industry is brutal and I realized I actually like having a stable place to sleep. But I still try to travel when I can and I write about it for myself sometimes, so maybe it's not completely gone?

Right now I'm more focused on smaller, achievable things - like actually finishing creative projects instead of starting a million things and abandoning them. Trying to build better relationships with people I care about. Maybe eventually saving enough to buy a house, though that feels impossible some days.

I think the dreams that stick are the ones that adapt, you know? The core of what I wanted was probably creative freedom and meaningful experiences, and I can still work toward that even if it doesn't look like what 20-year-old me imagined.

What about you - are you still chasing something you've wanted for a long time, or have your dreams shifted too?
