Many people have their own seasonal food. This could be a fruit or anything else that people usually consume during a specific season. So, what is your favourite food when it comes to a specific season?

Maybe fresh, raw, uncooked tree-ripened peaches.

I also like strawberries as well. They are a kind of seasonal fruit and they are not available in my country all the time. Strawberries are really good for your bone health, according to studies. They also taste great as well. 🙂

Nothing beats fresh corn season for me. Some months back, I bought hot corn in a roadside stall. It was so delicious. It's something I wait for all the time. It's strictly simple pleasure but it hits differently. You don't need big money, just good timing. Anytime I smell roasted corn, my childhood memories just rushed in again.

Watermelon in the summer is the best. It also always seems like a good purchase, so long as you aren't buying the miniature ones. You can buy a big seedless watermelon for like $4. You could feed a whole family with that.

OTOH if you're just 'feeding' two or three people then the smaller ones make a lot of sense and can taste pretty good too. :D
