That probably makes sense. There will only continue to be more and more historical figures that deserve some type of recognition, and you can only have so many holidays. And when your employer gives you a new holiday off, they're using taking another one away.
I don't think much about holidays about historical figures.
More vacation for me then

The roads are impossible here. The snow was bad enough, but then we got hit with nothing but freezing rain for a whole day.
Yeah they were originally forecasting us getting 18 inches of snow here, which would have been a record for Nashville. Ended up being half snow, half ice.
