    Anyone loves Digimon?

I remember enjoying the film they released as a kid, even though I know if I went back and watched it, I likely wouldn't like it (I hear the anime show itself is much better, more coherent). Otherwise, I didn't have a lot of other thoughts on it. I did, however, really enjoy playing Digimon...

    Staff Forums

Prior, I would use it to discuss particular members and ideas for the forum itself, however, nowadays, I find that it has outlived its actual purpose as a tool. I'm more likely to be upfront and ask the whole class about ideas nowadays, instead of the Staff. Also, through Discord, Facebook...

    Do you use Facebook?

I use Facebook messenger a lot - it's how I talked to mostly everyone rather than texting them. I don't often go to the actual Facebook, however.

    No internet forever!

As much as I love forums and websites and the internet in general, and the way it acts as a library of all of mankind's knowledge, I do absolutely admit having unmitigated access to internet at such a young-age likely hurt my development in other fields (i.e. social skills, causing me to develop...

Do you go to garage sales?

I have a lot of nostalgia for yard sales, and, in general, wish there were more of them. I liked that sense of discovery, and how, a lot of the time, the prices wouldn't be outrageous or unreasonable at all. Nowadays, an old PlayStation 2 videogame or some generic action-figure is seen as a...

    Ruined the ending

I remember when I was in college, my English professor had us read a book called Feed by Mira Grant. The novel is an interesting one, by the way. It is a unique spin on zombies that sees its protagonists as new age journalists that cycle through and document their surroundings. I liked it...

did you grow up with both parents?

Just Mom. My Dad bailed when I was three-years-old and I never saw him or heard from him again. I never thought about it as much as a kid, but as an adult I recognize how much his absence hurt my life and led to a lot of problems I didn't know how to deal with.

    Are bad words bad?

I remember when Will Smith won a Grammy award, he claimed he succeeded without swearing at all. He meant it as an insult toward the rappers who did. In "The Real Slim Shady", Eminem had a curse-laden reply to that. Another time, Eminem exclaimed his stance on the matter, and I think what he said...

Do you go to garage sales?

I used to go often with my grandma as well. Nowadays, I don't see them very often. Think it's cause my grandma's dead and I don't leave my house. #sadface

    Chit Chat Zone

Yeah, I went for the weirdest, oddball-est film we could find. Haha.

    Chit Chat Zone

Morning all! I am headed with a few friends to St. Louis. We're seeing a movie (Infinity Pool, if any of you're curious), stopping by a few stores, and headed to this anime-themed restaurant that serves sushi (I think). Should be fun!

    Chit Chat Zone

I have been searching through the archives of my old posts (some from when I was like 13-14) cringing over and over again. There's no easy way to say this, but for my sake, you might need to delete Wober again.

How many forums do you own?

-sighs- 1.) HTWC (wrestling forum, started in 2007, ended sometime in early 2008 - free-hosted version of phpBB) 2.) TWC / The Madness Forums (wrestling forum, started in 2008, ended in the Fall, then from 2009 until sometime in 2010 - free hosted version of IPB) 3.) TWF (wrestling forum...

    Using Proboards in 2022?

If I am being honest, ProBoards wouldn't even crack the Top Five of free-hosted forum software I'd recommend. Like what others have said, it is perfectly competent at the bare minimum.

    Using Proboards in 2022?

I second this fully. Forums are a niche product, for certain. However, I believe with commitment and intelligent marketing, they can still be relevant and successful (and also, simply enjoyable).

    Spender VS Saver

Since living with my wife, I have largely assumed the role of financing for our family, and I try to be both frugal yet not to our own detriment. Be responsible, but enjoy life, ya know? With $1,000, I would likely spend a decent portion (maybe half) and save the rest to continue building our...

    Favorite Forum Software

Honest to God, until seeing a post here from somebody, I had completely forgotten that Zetaboards ever existed. That software was solid as well. I am sad that Zathyus didn't continue to develop and polish it.

    Favorite Forum Software

I have a soft spot for IPB because it was the software I was most largely associated with - I learned how to code through IPB and I have a lot of nostalgic memories with it. I will admit it is less user-friendly and shows its age, but it had a lot of customizations and theme options as well...
