    Well it isn't. Make a forum about your passions. View your competitors, and do 5X better than them. Basically, don't be intimidated by competition.

    That's because they lose help. I could see many of them being created picking up the slack of competitors. With interesting features, etc, but they all offer the same thing. Why not just stick with one?

    Why are so many of them being created lately? None are bound to get as big as ForumPromotion, and I've quit using promotion forums, because your promotion threads are only getting viewed by those trying to promote. Very rarely will they register. So I'm doing things the organic way this...
