    I'm with Nebulous on this, actually. Forum Promotion has something like this as one of their advertisement services, and I'm not exactly too fond of them. I'm not too fond of the signature ads services either, especially with so many links in one person's sig, that may or may not have effect...

    Agreed. Many forums have a thread in the feedback section with something like, what is your favorite and least favorite thing about 'insert forum name here' and I think that kind of survey is more than enough. You don't need to go all out and be detailed right away.
