Super Mario Brothers on the old Nintendo and the first Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis.

Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES). Lost to Raiden and his electrocution fatality scared me a bit as a child.

This is a tough one as it was a long time ago but if I remember rightly the very first console game I ever played was Alex The Kidd on the Sega Master System. Remember me and my brothers got that system for Christmas one year and that game was built into the system.
