Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Crowd: [Cheers.]

In the Occupy Philly camp you had those that want to free the convicted cop killer Mumia spread out throughout the area to be sure to get in front of any media that showed up.

And it has been the same sort of thing wherever it has happened.

Sorry, but do these idiots really think they are going to stop economic inequality and what they call corporate greed? All they're going to do is freeze their arses off and perhaps die for a cause that will never change.

Never is such a big word, Jazzy...

Maybe corporations will listen once a few thousand people freeze to death. If they don't they'll lose money for a lack of buyers

I suppose you could call this natural selection.

Big deal. All the police did was enforce the the city parks curfew ordinance. These people deserved whatever they got for violating the ordinance.

Yes, but I thought there was some law or some such that says right to rally for protest or some such? Hell I don't even get the whole Occupy Wall Street thing as it is.
