Bursten said emergency personnel and fair officials were monitoring the weather because a severe storm had been expected to hit the area around 9:15 p.m. But the storm hit shortly before 9 p.m.

They were forewarned of an expected severe storm. This is very tragic but could have been avoided had they just canceled all events.

I think those who allowed the event to take place regardless of

the warnings should be held accountable for the deaths and

injuries sustained.

I agree with you Chatsie. I just heard on the radio that another person has died from their injuries.

I think also that the band members themselves should

have refused to play under those circumstances.

But of course, they wouldn't have got paid their money would they !
