Just got this text from my mobile carrier:

You have approximately 10% (0.2552GBs) of your monthly 4G LTE data allotment left. To get more data at 4G LTE data speed, simply upgrade your rate plan.

...Too much posting on Off Topix while out and about!

I think I get 2.5 gigs a month, after that its 3G speeds for the rest of the billing cycle if I run out.

How much do you get?

If I put £15 on my phone a month, I get 600MB. It's enough for me as I rarely use the internet on my phone.

I get 1GB of data. That's combined, 4, 3.5, 3G, Edge, 2G. I pay £26 a month, I get unlimited texts and calls as well as free Wifi from BT and on the London Underground. So I guess it's not too bad. Just wish the data cap was 2GB or maybe even 3GB (not that I go anywhere near my 1GB most of the time).

Do you have a smartphone? Because apps running in the background can eat up data right?

What happens if you run out?
