The New Zealand city of Christchurch has been rocked for the 3rd time in just 5 months, this time a 6.3 magnitude with fatalities. The first quake, a 7.1-magnitude stuck the city on September 4, 2010 which was followed by a second quake of magnitude 4.9 on December 26, 2010.

The quake struck at 12:51pm (NZ time), which means many people were at work and on the streets, as opposed to the 7.1 quake which struck in the early hours of the morning. Many building which withstood the September quake have now been completely collapsed, including parts of the iconic Christchurch Cathedral.
