9-1-1 Lone Star is a spinoff series from the original show 9-1-1 . It focuses on the fire, ambulance, and police in Austin, Texas. A fire captian from Manhattan is called for the job of restructuring the team of firefighters lost to a tragedy. The new firefighters feature the diverse main cast of a muslim woman, a transgender black man, The fire captain's gay son, a man who survived the tragedy that killed his old crew and suffers from PTSD, and a Plucky young Probie with dyslexia. All people from different circumstances coming together to form an amazing team.

I would highly recommend giving this show a watch. All the representation is amazing and it matters I see a lot of myself in the Trans Firefighter, Paul Strickland, and he is brave, intelligent, and courageous, just like I hope to be. When I watch it with my dad, I have hope that he will understand my transition one day. That he will see me as the proud transman that Paul is. And he is played by an actual transman! They did it right, guys! Give it watch and show the more intolerant people in your life too. It might just help them understand.

I watch it, I love it, I wish the 1st season was longer than it was though :(
