I have a couple times. When I was a kid playing around (got in big trouble for that one) and once my mom took too many pills (I think accidentally) and would not wake up. Called them for that.

Our number is 999 and yes have had to call it when one of my children stopped breather a couple of times

As a Paramedic, I have called 911 when off duty and needed extra assistance. Happened just last week. I was on my way home from shopping and saw an accident. I pulled over and there were two people in need of transport. Did what I could until backup units arrived.

Like Nebulous said I played around on the phone when I was a kid and got in trouble because I hung up.., and they ended up coming to the house
I also had to call 911 because there were people arguing outside once and somebody had gotten stabbed.

Yes they lived , but they don't live out here anymore.

Personally, I have had to call 911 a few times. Once when I was a teenager, I called the cops on my step-mom because she threw a tv at me. I got arrested for beating her ass... Then when my daughter got sick in 2012 and started having seizures I had to call 911 to get her to a hospital fast. She was just under two at that time. It was scary and sad.

Yes, I had a knot on my head from it, but I did more damage to her...
