For those who have glasses, would you stay with glasses, get contact lenses or consider getting corrective eye surgery?

And for those who don't have glasses, if you did have them, would you stay with glasses or get eye surgery?

I don't wear glasses. I can't stand anything on my face for long (such as sun glasses). I would go get contact lenses as the thought of eye surgery scares me.

After 12 years, I think, of wearing glasses, I've made the jump to contacts. It's like having HD vision XD So I think I'd stay with them and wear glasses when my eyes get tired. Couldn't do Eye surgery. Can't stand pointy things near my eyes [shudders]

I have glasses. I can't see hardly anything without them (just blobs of color). I wouldn't get contact lenses, as I can't stand anything touching my eyes. I would also never get any sort of corrective eye surgery, as there are way too many risks (I've read tons of stories about them gone wrong, it's pretty common). I have a huge fear of going blind and I don't want to risk anything with eye surgery. :\

I just prefer to keep wearing my glasses. I really don't like the thought of something like Contacts that close to my eye balls.

I once mentioned to my Optometrist that I wish I had green eyes instead of blue. He gave me a pair of non prescription green coloured contact lenses. I tried them and, sure enough, my eye color went from crystal blue to emerald green. It was very cool to hear the reaction from people. They made me look totally different. The only problem I had was first getting them in. I tried about 5 times before it worked. Once they were in, I couldn't even feel them. After a few days, I was able to just pop them in within seconds. I may get another pair soon as they are not that expensive.

I'd stick with glasses if I didn't have to wear them all day. Otherwise contacts probably, I doubt I'd look good with glasses.
