a sport you have never played?

Original golf. It's expensive to play 18 holes of golf, and it takes tons of skill.

My grandparents are avid golfers, and my mother played twice in her lifetime. I'm trying to become a third-generation golfer.

I dont think I have ever played a game of golf either :|
My grandpa used to let me drive the golf cart when he would go golfing though. :)

I played a round of golf, once, many years ago.

It was for a charity fund raiser and of my foursome, only the sports editor had any idea what he was doing.

Things I remember we had in the cart with us included a BB gun, a fishing pole with some plastic worms, an ice chest full of beer, a fifth of Yukon Jack, and a radio.

I had bought a mismatched set of clubs at a yard sale, the other guy that was with us, Don, brought three clubs of his own, and the senior editor didn't think about it, so he tried to use the ones I had, except he was left handed.

Needless to say, we didn't do so good, and Don ended up passed out on a bench along the course.

We got the golf cart stuck in the creek at one point and had to go get my car to pull it out. It had rolled backward down the hill because we didn't realize that it rolled backward quite easily even when in 'forward' gear.

I found out you CAN shoot a golf ball with a BB gun while the senior editor is trying to hit it. But doing so upsets him greatly.

The sports editor, who was a serious golfer, was keeping his own score, and trying to win one of the prizes, gave up on us at about the third hole and joined another group that was short handed.

We missed a couple of the holes when I stopped to fish in the pond, then found Don wandering around looking for everything but us, later we signed our cards with totally fictitious scores, and left. But the charity did pretty good as far as fund raising goes, so it worked out in the end.

And that is my golfing experience.
