What is Battle of the Boards?
Welcome to the Admin Junkies Battle of the Boards competition! This competition brings together 16 forums to face off in a series of rounds, with the goal of ultimately being crowned the champion. The stakes are high, and only one can emerge victorious. Who will come out on top? Follow along and find out!


How does it work?
All 16 forums are placed in 4 categories:
  1. General & Entertainment: 4 forums - two rounds to eliminate the competition
  2. Gaming & RPG: 4 forums - two rounds to eliminate the competition
  3. Forum Services: 4 forums -two rounds to eliminate the competition
  4. Miscellaneous: 4 forums - two rounds to eliminate the competition
You may select up to 4 people from your staff and members from your forum and join the competition. In a team of 5 you will compete 15 other forums and carry out various tasks to bring an end product of the task given.

Example: All Gaming & RPG forums are given a game title where they write an article for. All members registered on Admin Junkies may vote for the best article. The most voted submissions wins the round.

As rounds and tasks pass by, you will eliminate your competition as the chart provided below. Together with your team you will be required to join a private group on Admin Junkies for your team only, where you can discuss and plan your submission to the task given.

What are the 4 rounds ?
  1. Round number one consists of an award ceremony round where we have different categories setup and where members will be able to rate your forum in. Example: Best Theme, Best Domain, Best User Accessibility, etc.
  2. Second round will be an article creation on your niches subject.
  3. Third round will involve a graphic designing task.
  4. Fourth round is to be announced on a later date, to keep it exciting for the finals!
As said before, as a team you deliver a product where our members can vote for the best result. We encourage administrators to persuade their members to vote for them in this competition. This is meant to be a challenging and competitive event, and we expect administrators to rally their member base to support their favorite board. However, we do not tolerate any bad sportsmanship conduct such as board sabotage or cheating. Friendly campaigning is perfectly okay, and is something we hope to get people to vote for your board. If you believe that your board is the best, then demonstrate it by getting your supporters to cast their votes for you.

To keep it even more fair and hopefully refrain participants from cheating, all member votes will be cut in half.


Who can enter?
Any forum administrator can submit their forum and enter the competition. Remember that you will be required to join a private group on Admin Junkies with 4 additional team members to complete the tasks and rounds, so choose carefully! There is no minimum requirement for forums. You can enter your forum here: Submit


What can you win?
Top two finalist will receive the following prizes:

First place prize
  1. Cash prize of $150 via PayPal
  2. Premium Membership for 3 months on Admin Junkies
  3. Header advertisement (468x60) and a sticky thread for 3 months
  4. A credits increase of 1000 to use on services and exchanges

Second place prize
  1. Cash prize of $50 via PayPal
  2. Premium Membership for 1 months on Admin Junkies
  3. Header advertisement (468x60) and a sticky thread for 1 months
  4. A credits increase of 500 to use on services and exchanges

  9. Pickem: Pickem is a Sports prediction game. Whether against the spread or straight up, you are tasked with picking the outcome of every game in a given week for an entire season.

Greetings everyone!

I'm pleased to announce that we've taken our journey a step further! :) I want to welcome you all back to Admin Junkies 2.0. It's been almost 5 months since we've created the forum and I'm very pleased with the results and the community we've build together so far. I hope you all enjoy Admin Junkies as much as I do. If not, do tell me what to improve! I'm always all ears to improve your experience here. Our future is bright and full of adventures to come! :D

First of all, we've installed a new custom theme with both the light and dark version. I want to thank @DohTheme for creating this masterpiece. There may be some small bugs left, but we'll tackle them along we go. Feel free to point them out if you see some. I also want to thank the Staff team and the Premium Members for all their input during the design phase of the theme on how to improve it along the way. I hope you'll all enjoy the new theme! :)

Secondly, you'll notice that our layout has slightly changed. A quick summary: Community Management has been moved to the index page instead of a subforum. Forum & Web Support has moved to Community Cooperative. The Link Directory now has a few subforums to keep it clean and organized. Graphic Showcase has moved to the Community Lounge. Preferences & Generic Threads is a new subforum which should be self-explanatory. To keep the main General Chat forum to more "intellectual" threads. This is however in test phase and is not yet certain to be kept.

We've got new services! Graphic Requests are now ready to be made. So if you're in need of some graphics, feel free to use this new service. We encourage members to help out with the requests if they feel the urge to do so. All credits will be sent to the member who completes the request successfully. You are now also able to request a member review in the Feedback & Reviews section under the Link Directory. Due to the lack of a better place it's currently staying as a subforum there. We might add an official review service later. We might also have staff applications for the Graphic Requests and Reviews on a later date.


We'll be working on bringing new content (threads and articles) as well in the following days to keep you all entertained. :)

New Features​

We've got new services! Graphic Requests are now ready to be made. So if you're in need of some graphics, feel free to use this new service. We encourage members to help out with the requests if they feel the urge to do so. All credits will be sent to the member who completes the request successfully. You are now also able to request a member review in the Feedback & Reviews section under the Link Directory. Due to the lack of a better place it's currently staying as a subforum there. We might add an official review service later. We might also have staff applications for the Graphic Requests and Reviews on a later date.

We've added forum battles to the layout. This is not your typical popularity contest which is often seen on other communities. Instead we've come up with a range of categories to battle in. See it as some Awards type of battle. We also will host some small contests on a frequently basis. We ask that everyone is fair in judging when a battle is ongoing. And not making this a popularity contest after all. If you wish to battle against another forum on this community, now is your chance. Make sure that you read and understand the guidelines. We've started off with an official contest: Best Forum Design/Theme

Also added a "Latest Happenings" forum. This is to provide us your community forum events, announcements, contests, news, etc.


Admin Junkies Hub​

This is currently is a test phase. We've added a group / social community add on to Admin Junkies and we're calling it the Hub. Setup your own community within our community by making a Group/Hub about any niche you like. You can add discussions, resources, subforums, etc. within your Hub and thus create a mini-forum with an already existing community from here. Please note: there are still some theme issues with this add on, they will be fixed soon.
