Administrator, Moderator or User

Admin on here..

Regular member every where else.

I love being admin but not founder. All those MODs that you have to install to make the community happy. Plus, ones you find that have nothing to do with the forum genre but looks awesome. Like the last topic title in the profile.

This is what I posted on another forum..

I like being the Founding Admin (the one who created the forum).

I like having creative control over new ideas and additions to the forum, also listening to people's ideas and putting them into action.

Also interacting with people and watching them enjoy something I created.

I'm currently all 3 on different forums and I enjoy them all.

The forums I am staff on don't get a lot of problem members so it's easy to be a admin/mod on them. It's usually just a case of deleting spam.

I was really excited when I was first asked to be forum staff as I felt like it was a recognition of the contribution I had made to the forums, and also it felt good to know that I was trusted to do the job properly.

Super mod. Regular mod doesn't have enough permission to do shit and admins generally have to, you know, pay for stuff, and I don't like paying for stuff or fixing up the technical side of things. Regular member is also fine, when I don't want to be a staff member. I used to never stay on a forum unless I could staff it, but now I would rather not. I've started going back to 'real life' you know that thing you see when you tear your eyes away from your computer?..

I used to be the most dedicated mod ever, now I wouldn't trust myself to be online daily, or read all the posts. But one thing I am still very good at is banning people...

I don't really have a preference as it all comes down to how good the board is. If I really like then I might take up a mod position which eventually ends up with a promotion to admin. If I don't care for the place enough or don't have enough time to actually work at a forum then I just simply stay as a member.

I do throughly enjoy the creative power that comes with being founder of a board. It's the real reason why I would own a board as nothing quite as good as owning it myself.

I prefer being Moderator or admin. It really depends on the board though, some boards it's very fun being just a member. It all depends on the boards atmosphere.

I prefer being a member for the most part, but if I encounter a forum that is really in need of help, then I wouldn't mind being an administrator or moderator. But if I do apply for a staff position, I would like to know what is expected of me before I accept.

Admin on ZG and a regular member on other forums. I don't like being staff at other forums unless it's Admin or higher and I will not take more than 1 admin job.

I'm an administrator but like I always say:

Don't be intimidated because I'm an administrator; I'm just another user except I'm constantly working the backend of the community.

Hm.. this is a tough question actually. I mean I love being the Admin of my forum and I do like having some power on other forums. However, sometimes it is good to just be a member and not have any real responsibility.

Nowadays, I like being a moderator. I still try my best to be here, but I know if I am busy, it's not too big of a deal missing a day or two. Also, I'm not good at coding, and things like that. But post wise, I try my best to add a bit into the threads. I like helping people at the posting and talking level. Not so much in the fine tuning such as skins, BBcodes, and whatnot.

It depends on the site. Sometimes being a moderator or administrator will seem to much of a burden, and for some sites I like to just remain a user because, well, it's fun... but there are some cases where I'm willing to lend a helping hand.

Regular User. Nebulous knows that I'm an awful staff member once school starts again

I prefer being a user, I mean I like being admin on my forums and on some of my closest friends forums. But it can also be difficult.

Although if it is a forum like the worlds largest forum and needs a bunch of help, i wouldn't mind being a staff member.
