Do you find ad banners or other types of adverts on forums to be annoying? Is there a limit they should have?

They can be, in excess... I have Adblock though...

I have never really noticed ads on forums, I go on forums were people are complaining of to many ads, but I only seem to notice them when someone points them out.

The ads people tend to use on forums are really small and hardly noticeable. I suppose I just grown used to them being there that I don't really pay much attention to them. If the ad was going to bother anyone then it wouldn't last long before people started complaining anyways which would prompt the ad to be removed.

Ads are annoying on forums but the admin of it has to pay for them to be removed. However, you can use AdBlock Plus or a similar plug-in that gets rid of these ugly-looking things when browsing a forum, let alone browsing a website

One ad banner at the top is fine, as long as I don't have to pay to be a member there. However, anymore than one ad banner at the top is excessive and it just isn't desirable.

Maybe this board is ad-free, I don't notice any.

But, I can tell you with certainty that I'd never hand over my credit card to avoid ads. Nevaaah nevahhh.

I've got ads as well, but they're fairly small and out of the way. Since I am sick of sites that are full of ads, I have AdBlock installed in Chrome to keep them away, even though I understand it takes away from the revenue of the community.

If they're excessive than they'll rest as an excruciatingly large turnoff otherwise, they serve their purpose and are harmless.
