...been watching this on-and-off the past couple days and, to my surprise, I actually have begun finding myself agreeing w/Mr. Whittle's views. Is that wrong; is it wrong to come to that honest conclusion after years of being in the political wilderness - if not in the drug-like trance of progressivism/liberalism?

I know I asked that question in another thread pre-hack but I think its' a valid question...thoughts? :|

This is the video that got me watching all his videos.

One of my favorite conservatives. And this one explains conservatism exceptionally well.
The thing I liked most about the video, Liberty, is he didn't try to talk down to the viewer; he was clear and concise and laid out his principles in a fair and open manner. (Try getting someone on the Left to do likewise, my friend.)

I'll have to bookmark that for later viewing...I remember reading one of Rand's books in high school years ago and thought, "that is one dense book"...but never let it be said I won't watch it again - or read it again (I think it was Atlas Shrugged if I recall; I could be wrong, of course.)

Well don't watch the atlas shrugged movies first. They are disappointing compared to the book. Can only be appreciated for the hardcores like me. And if 1100 pages is to much to read because it can be a little difficult at the beginning get the audio CD. My wife got me the newer version for my birthday about 2 years ago with a much better voice from the original.

1100 pages of Ayn Rand? Pfft...try reading The Exegesis of Philip K. Dick sometime, my friend. That book's only 900 or so pages, but that book fits the definition of "mind screw" to a tee.

What the heck I have been running out of CD ideas from the library for my travel time in my work van.
