Okay, I'm getting this question asked about my forum a lot recently, and it bugs me because Chatting Time really caters to all age groups. The standard age of our members does seem to be anywhere from 20 somethings to 30 somethings, probably even some 40 year old on there. But what people aren't realizing is that just because it seems like there's more adults posting on the forum (I'm 22) we are not an adult-orientated forum. All content is kept at PG-13 level (or PG level if at all possible)... and I'm finding it hard to tell people that we allow people of just about any age on our forum. So, what are the age ranges of members on some of your forums?

That must make for some interesting posts.. does it?[/quote]

I don't really get people of that age, but I've moderated a forum with them before.

Yes, it's interesting, and annoying.

My board ranges from about 15-23 or so, though the majority fall from about 18-21. I can't think of anyone outside of that age range off the top of my head.

I dont know.. People can be whatever age they want on the internet.

Ha, ha, well basically since both this forum and my forum are the same kind of genera, we both cater to anyone of any age, really. I also asked this because there seem to be forums that are only geared towards teens, while other forums have more of a club or bar type atmosphere and you have to be 18 or even 21 to join. That's kind of another reason I asked.

meh it's probably like 17, 18, I dunno

Most the people claim to be in their mid 20s, but the majority act like they're 5 or 6.

Uhm...forum I work at...ranges between 13 and...I'm not sure, but I know some members are 21-22...and there are some older ones that don't come around that often. Active members it's between 13 and 21 or 22.

My youngest is 13, but I know I have a few up into the 30's and maybe 40's.

Mainly, any age that enjoys the internet
