So to customers.. if you want your groceries done a certain way.. You NEED to SAY something before your bagger puts em a certain way. More your fault then it is mine if something like meat gets a bit messed up if it winds up near or at the bottom.

Thank you. That is all.

Good advice Sci. Or...if you don't like how your bags are being packed, do it youself!

Yeah, I'm what they call a Courtesy Clerk. Basically a bagger/cart getter/bathroom cleaner/floor sweeper/item put back person.

Not all grocery stores in my area have baggers. Actually there is only one that does and that's because the store is huge. Many of the smaller stores cannot afford to hire baggers. To be honest and not insult any baggers reading this, I would rather pack my own bags. This way I can separate items the way I want and I don't wind up with scrambled eggs before I even cook them.

Lol, none taken!

I prefer to bag my own stuff too.

If I worked at a cashout bagging peoples shopping, I wouldn't need

the customer to tell me that squashable stuff does 'not' go at the bottom

with everything else piled on top. Isn't it common sense ?

Yes it is, but some still want to tell you that anyway cause they may feel you may not be smart enough to realize that.

Most places here the cashier bags everything for you. We have like one place that has baggers but that's it :\

Usually they bag pretty well, lol

Yeah, its like that nearly everywhere. But the store I work for, I'm a bagger so it makes it a bit easier on the cashiers. Unless I'm outside for an hour or two pulling in carts, cleaning bathrooms, or some other such.
