I see this happen way too much amongst my RL friends on Facebook. Why must people publicly fight and put all their drama out there for everyone to see? Post entirely personal matters for everyone to comment on?

I think it's part to do with the fact that nobody knows who you

are anyway. Those same people wouldn't go and stand in their

town center and shout out all their personal issues, but they

seem to think it's safe to do so online.

Probably because they are too cowardly to face one another in RL. They also do it to see who strangers think is right or wrong. Instead of facing the other person in RL, they hide behind their computer.

It's one way of 'getting one over' on the other person I suppose,

if you get more people 'on your side' than the other person.

Perhaps they can't think of anything else to talk about !

It's childish to air your dirty laundry out in a fight, but there's nothing wrong with venting over a subject over the internet, and everybody here has probably done it.

Well this topic was talking about my FB who I do know and all their friends know them. FB is more to keep in touch with friends and family in the real world. Forums are more for strangers. That's usually where I air out my dirty laundry because none of you know me in the real world.
