Are you an AMD or Intel person when it comes to processors?

I used to be an AMD guy, but I have an Intel processor in my computer now. When you look at the benchmarks, Intel processors are superior performance-wise in this day and age. On a budget, AMD is still the way to go for gaming for sure, though.

I must admit, I am a bit of an AMD fanboy. Intel CPUs are undoubtedly more powerful as far as the benchmarks are concerned, but my budget has always been tight, and AMD usually gives more for what I'm able to pay than what Intel can offer.

Intel is probably better but AMD does the job and is cheaper.

Well, AMD is cheaper. Intel is still the strongest in my opinion.

It hasn't always been like this. Personally I like comparing 2 actual CPUs from both companies before deciding which one I buy. Although lately I must agree Intel has the more powerful one.

My desktops are AMD but my laptop is Intel i3 and to tell the truth i dont really see much of a different..

I was very curious what AMD would show with Buldozer technology, but unfortunately this technology is still worst and slower than i-core in Intel.

So I like AMD more, but I'm using Intel cause it's more efficient.

I just use Intel. Since the P2-based Celeron era. Currently I'm using Pentium G870 dual-core on desktop and Core i3 on laptop.

Ewww i3 get a i5 or i7. back on topic I like both actually

On laptops, the 4th generation i3 and i5 chips are almost exactly the same. The only real difference is the turbo boost, so really, the i5's are just i3 chips with a higher maximum clock rate.

If only the i7 chips weren't so freaking expensive. :P
