An Anatomy of Why I Hate Progressives

The left have deputized abject morons all over the world to police speech, and nothing illustrates this better than this video.

It’s poker. What can happen here that will cause the PC patrol to rise up and brand a couple of white poker players racist?

The format is 5 professionals play a cash game and they invite in a “loose cannon” (an amateur) to make things interesting. The amateur player happens to be black.

The action eventually focused on Phil Hellmuth, one of the greatest Texas Holdem’ tournament players of all time, and Ernest Wiggins, the amateur.

Wiggins had pocket KIngs, versus Hellmuth’s Ace-9.

In Texas Holdem there is a flop (3 cards revealed that all players use to improve their hand.) The flop was 9-10-9.

Hellmuth flopped 3 nines. Wiggins was not improved with his Kings. But Wiggins bet big. Hellmuth hesitated to try and figure out what could have him beat with the less than spectacular flop. It was only pockets tens that could have him beat, so he said out loud –

“That flop looks like you.”

In poker that means that the crummy board might improve an amateur player’s hand because their pre-flop range is so wide, and that they’d raise big with 10s before the flop, whereas a professional probably wouldn’t.

So what do you suppose the online YouTube commenters started shouting?

-The flop was shit.
This is why Phil said: “Looks like you.” It was supposed to be a racial insult saying the amateur has the skin color of shit.

– That flop looks like you. Why cause im black?

“that flop looks like you” = “that flop looks like shit” = “you look like shit.” Is that what Phil was trying to say? To call the guy a slob or something?

- I thought he meant something off-color, like “spades with heart,” or something racial.

But they weren’t finished. After Wiggins ends up winning money in the hand, Daniel Negreanu says, “hey, now you’re back in the black,” an accounting term meaning you’re showing profit from your original investment.

Now the ill-educated, deputized ray-shull police go after Negreanu –

-Why did he say “you are back and you re black” in the end?

– “Now your back in the black” what does that mean daniel???

– but he was black the whole time his skin color never changed

-its ok for like a weak nice white guy to say racist things…. no real threat there

- It’s cause he’s black  ‘n’ stuff…..like he was turning white when he thought he was gonna lose, but then when he won 3/4 of the pot….he was black again

-haha the awkward black comment at the very end

This. It doesn't solve any problems to assume a group of people are all like-minded. That is ignorant and shallow thought simple because of a lack of understanding and therefore hate. A smart person would look at all the details, not make assumptions, and realize that not every individual is the same. But there seems to be a lack of intelligence in this article, which makes it highly laughable.

Because on many issues progressives and liberals fall into the same category on many issues and in this one political liberals and progressives it is just about a absolute.

And as for Israel just like any country there is nothing a support 100% on all issues. I just believe that region is far, far, far, better having a Israel then not.
