Structurally critical glaciers from the West Antarctic ice sheet are disappearing way faster than we realized, two teams of scientists recently reported.

Kind of scary knowing there’s nothing we can do to stop it.

They lost their credibility when they started saying that it is "irreversible".

The process has reversed itself several times since measurements began being taken, and just a couple of years ago, there was "record sea ice" down there.
