A new, improved sequencing of ancient human relative genomes reveals that Homo sapiens didn't only have sex with Neanderthals and a little-understood line of humans called Denisovans. A fourth, mystery lineage of humans was in the mix, too.

As reported by the news arm of the journal Nature, new genetic evidence suggests that several hominids -- human relatives closer than humans' current living cousin, the chimpanzee -- interbred more than 30,000 years ago. Either case, I see a lot of red flags in these various "evolution" related theories! Like, for example, I always thought that interspecies sex could not generate an offspring...or even if/when it generates an offspring they were sterile!!!

But yes, I know that there are always exceptions...and there are indeed many, many ancient stories of interspecies sex also, like the nephilim, etc...

Well, some old stories eventually turn into myth and, of course, become exaggerated...

..and do you mean: One fertile "female" offspring like that fertile mule?

Like in the old myth stories it is usually a fertile male (of the more advanced species) who is having sex with the female of the lower species!!!

..and Zeus could have been some one like in your Genghis Khan example...

The only requirement is that they have enough offspring of their own (or that their offspring has enough offspring of their own) to spread to just about everyone.

Well but I bet that there were some really weird looking offspring for awhile since several species seem to have been involved (four species actually) to make a human! LOL!!!

..and, of course, some of those more weird looking offspring did not reproduce and therefore did not survive...and became extinct.

Either case, the Zeus like offspring were obviously the stronger and more fertile offspring that were able to reproduce a lot and therefore dominated and become legendary...

If you think about it the differences between humans are still pretty big (not dog-big, but big all the same). For example, take a northern European, a central African and an east Asian person. They'll look pretty different and not just skin colour either.

I suppose that's always a possibility. Though one would expect to find fossils in much the same way we find canine remains in early human settlements.

Actually many unusual fossils (giants, deformed skulls, etc) have been found throughout the years but since they do not fit in with the silly "out of Africa" orthodox theories they are immediately disregarded and/or hidden away!
