Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?

yes it does

5 years ago I was like 14 years old so no XD. But last year there was some stuff I'll probably feel angry about for the rest of my life.

Life (IMO) is to short to stay angry over something that happened 5 years ago. I don't live in the past, I live for today and take it one day at a time.

Don't remember anything specific, doubt it was important

I don't have the conviction to stay upset after 5 years. I remember an argument about 8 years ago which separated me from a good friend until very recently.

But I was over the argument after about 2 weeks. It just took him slightly longer..

Why must be 5 years?

If something made u feel exrtemely upset,no matter with how many years passing,I think u can still remember it.Maybe not exactly, but memorize a little.

16 - 5 = 11...

Well I was mostly pissed off that my parents didn't get me a military ID at 10 like most kids were getting it, I had to wait until I was 11 1/2. Also I think my brother stole my legos, or played with my toys while I was at school, and that would piss me off.

My brother now wants to and sometimes steal my DS games rather than asking, and that pisses me off >:/

Well, when I was 10 I was mad because.. err, I forget lol so I guess it's not important XD

I don't live in the past. I live for the future.

Exactly what Jazzy said. Life's to short man. Being happy is the best thing for you. I try to make sure I'm in that mood as much as possible. I try not to let stuff bother me that much, which is why I'm so happy to be laid-back.

I don't see how the length of your life is really an issue here. If someone hurt you deep enough it'll never be the same around them, you can't just choose to forget everything that happened and act like you used to. At least it's that way for me. It's not like I think about it when I'm not around them and feel bad, it's just that I'll never be able to trust them anymore and see them in the same way I did before.
