So you would all value the life of a mass murderer over that of an innocent kitten?
This whole topic was blown way out of proportion, and this quote here is the prime example.
People have common sense to know that a freaking kitty would be more important. This kind of situation would never happen, so why bring it into context?
Why would the kitty be more important? Because he would probably live longer than the murderer who we know if caught would go straight to death row.
A life is a life no matter how you look at it, now with that being said it all depends on the situation. If we agree to no longer kill animals, then where are we going to get our meat? Now most people would be like oh well, but this is an important question...
If your willing to not eat meat that is one thing, but taking away from everyone else is another. They way they torture and kill the animals just to provide us food is outrageous in it's own, however, without killing cows, or pigs, that would mean no more hot dogs or burgers, or steak !!! ...
lol, in all reality, animals should be honored with all respect when we kill them, like the indians do. They shouldn't be treated like things, but instead we should cherish the lives they are giving up to feed us.
Dogs and Cats do not count in this regard !!! Their to cute to eat.
