Do you ever join anime forums?

Are they for you? Why or why not?

I joined some in the past 20 years and I see nothing wrong with them.

I joined one back in the day, forgot I had joined, remembered years later about it, went back only to find out it no longer existed lol.
Now that you mention it , I'm having the same issue too.

Japan - Legend was one of the very first forums I ever joined. It opened in 2007. Activity has been going downhill for many years now for the community. And since last month, it has been showing this message consistently.

I want to say maybe they're doing an overhaul but for a month? Might be down permanently?

I wouldn't be surprised if they did close permanently. It was always mostly dead with most of the founding members barely logging on.

I used to, a long time ago, when I still watched anime. But I haven't been on that bandwagon for a while. Haven't found an anime I dig enough to keep up with.

I was actually curious about anime forums that's on a group promotion site. I was checking out the ones they have listed and a good majority of them are closed. Anime is still popular so not sure what that's about.
