Ant bite

Has anyone ever been bitten my an ant?



I've got bitten on Friday and it itches like mad.

I just took pictures but my phone didn't save them



The redness is about 3 inches by 2 inches.

the middle bit of it (when the s*** bit me) is yellow.



I've put bite gel on it, but today it itches like hell and my calf hurts everytime I walk. Like I've just pulled my calf muscle or something!

Fire ants definitely can. Trust me, I've got a bit of experience with that.

I have quite a number of times, inch ants/ bull ants are the worst.

I'm not too sure if we have any of those species of ants over here. If we do, they can't be very common as I've never heard of anyone being bitten by an ant.

One time whe I was small I sat on a pile of red fire ants. They were all over me and they bit like crazy. Man, that hurt and I couldn't sit down for quite some time

Baking soda or Witch hazel took the itch away

I used to lay in fire ants... it kind of hurts when you got about 40 of them crawling around bit you..

Ive gotten bit by red ants before. It hurts but not as bad as what some other bugs can do.

Yes but the ants here are small and harmless. It's over in a few hours and isn't that annoying.
