and why they'd support him.

I'm anti-Obama myself because I don't like what he does to America and Americans.

Honestly I don't hate him at all. He is the president of the United States, and regardless of the job that he is doing, I still respect him for the position that he is in.

I don't really approve of his decisions, however. ObamaCare in particular leaves a lot to be desired, without doubt.

I agree with EE. Some people don't need a real reason to like or dislike someone. There are those with very valid arguments against Obama (especially the one's I've seen on Off Topix), but there are also those I have seen elsewhere who don't provide a tangible argument as to why they like or dislike him. After all he's done in office, I don't see much reason to like/dislike him any more than any other moderately liberal U.S. president.

As for specific things he's done, there's a long list of them that can be viewed either way:
Health care reform
Don't ask don't tell / Gay rights
Stimulus package
Equal pay for women / Ledbetter Act
Guantanamo Bay
