Ahhh, bass guitar.
Bass always had some appeal to me but it wasn't until late August that I picked one up. It was a Squier-Fender, red, and came with an amp, guitar case and strap. It was a good deal, too, I only paid around $315.00.
Recently I've finished learning Come Together by The Beatles and Float On and The Good Times Are Killing Me by Modest Mouse. I learned very early on, too, the song Such Great Heights by The Postal Service.
What songs can you play on the bass, bassists of Off Topix? Are you writing your own music now?
