Archery is the art, practice, or skill of propelling arrows with the use of a bow, from arcus (Latin). Archery has historically been used for hunting and combat; in modern times, however, its main use is that of a recreational activity. One who practises archery is typically known as an archer or bowman, and one who is fond of or an expert at archery can be referred to as a toxophilite.

Is this something you've ever done or wanted to do?

How good are you at it if you've done it before?

I have done this when I was a summer camp counselor. They had an archery range and we would take the campers there twice a week. It's much harder than it looks. When I first started, my arms would ache and I never knew where the heck the arrows wound up.

After a lot of practice I was finally hitting the target. It's great fun but I haven't done it for a very long time now.
