To think it natural for one man to openly desire to perform sexual acts on another man must be some sort of deep seated sickness.

Of course, elsewhere, it was considered a crime, and indeed, in many parts of the world, especially those under the tender mercies of Sharia, it still is, and in some places, is punished with the death penalty.

What I meant, and people with more than three brain cells to rub together would understand, is that I have some proposals for topics that had previously been taboo and the way would appear to be clear to bring them up.

Such as the current one about what the larger world thinks of America's preoccupation with "homo-, trans-, bi-, and so on- Sexuals".

No. Or yes. I don't believe I, or other gay people, are sick or criminals because of sexuality. There are sicknesses that can be acquired via homosexual activities, but they can also be acquired through heterosexual means, so yeah.

And I believe criminality depends more on upbringing and area.

I find it odd that in this topic, is narrowed down to a man having sex with a man... Homosexuals are not only male, however, it's ok for a man to watch two women go at it in a porn and he's aroused by this. If the idea of homosexuality is so 'sick', why do straight men get off watching the act that they are so against themselves?

It is not an illness... it is love. They are doing the same thing that anyone else of consenting age is doing, just because they are doing it with someone that straight people disapprove of makes not difference. For example, say a straight woman has sex with a straight man, but the man is very ugly... that woman's circle of friends can still disapprove of her choice and criticize her for her what she did. "Eww, why did you have sex with him?" "What's wrong with you, you can do better?!" Etc.

It doesn't matter what anyone does in society, there will always be someone against it due to their own personal reasons or beliefs, but ask yourself, "What are gay people really hurting in MY life?" By two gay people being together, this hurts nothing in my life and they deserve to be just as happy as anyone else.

As far as are they criminals... anyone can be a criminal... sexual preference does not change that.

In the eyes of the body of laws we are talking about, Lesbianism was NOT traditionally defined as a crime. And, in fact, in some cases, it still is not and is viewed as 'women comforting each other' in some of the Middle East, and is officially ignored, most of the time.

The crime of Homosexuality, defined as "Sodomy" or even "Buggery" in the world of the law is exclusively about acts committed by one male upon another.

In most of the West, said act has either been de-criminalized, or at least, if the laws are still on the books, it is simply not enforced.

Maybe I did misunderstand. The question was "Are Homosexuals Sick or Criminals?". Anyone can be a criminal and I don't see how they are sick. I just stated reasons why I felt that way. I'm not sure about this talk of how other countries view their acts because I'm from America and over here, those acts are perfectly legal whether it's 2 gay men or a woman allowing a man. If a country views it that way, then it's obviously illegal in THAT country, but that still doesn't make them a criminal in my eyes. Loads of people break the law everyday, does that make them a criminal? I've crossed the street where there wasn't a cross walk... that's 'jay walking' and it's against the law, but I'm not in jail nor am I going to go out and commit an even bigger crime.

Am I on the right track now? If I'm still way off then yes, I don't understand and I'll exit with grace before making an even bigger fool outta myself.
