Are you a loner, a people person, or something in between?

I am a loner no doubt about it. I have my best friend, my girlfriend, my boss, and my dog. Honestly I feel that I don't want or need anyone else. All 4 treat me well and provide all the company/conversation that I require. (the dog doesn't say much but he's a damn fine listener)

Based on personal experience, the more people one has in their lives, the more drama one has in their lives. I don't like drama so avoid people whenever I can. My girl just happens to not like people also, so we fit like 2 pieces to a jigsaw puzzle.

I hate, hate, hate, when people drop by without giving me a heads up. I act so out of sorts that they never come around again. I don't like people blowing up my phone either....get a life! I like forums because I can interact with others without actually having to be around them, works for me. About 90% of my job is done from home...love that as I don't have to put up with people.

Who else can relate to what I'm saying? Do y'all love people or would you rather avoid them if at all possible?

I tend to be an ambivert, but it depends mostly on if I'm online or offline and in what way I'm interacting with people.

Online, I can be much more extroverted- especially if it's text focused. If it's voice, I tend to be a bit more limited and have more anxiety.

IRL, I tend to be more introverted. I can't handle big groups and prefer one on one as much as possible if I'm going to deal with people. Not good with long parties and stuff. I prefer being by myself most times, or with my dad sometimes.

But yeah, I can handle people in spurts basically in general... So I consider myself an ambivert: sometimes I really like people, sometimes I want nothing to do with humans. xD

I have social anxiety, so I'm very much a loner. I don't enjoy being around people irl, but I LOVE being on forums, interacting. So...I'm semi-social? lol

I'm definitely a loner. I have social anxiety and I'm an introvert. I have a small group of friends that I enjoy being with but for the most part I don't like people in general. My favourite activities are ones that I can do by myself.

I can well understand why some have social anxiety considering the way human nature is. Can't fault anyone for having that at all. What I have can be called social avoidance. People don't make me anxious, I just don't like them so avoid them as much as I can.

When I was young, I was incredibly shy.

With time, I became more outgoing, but I still tended to keep to myself because of the challenging people around me.

I guess I just got used to being alone. However, I'm not a loner by nature.

I genuinely enjoy being in the company of others. It's just that I'm not usually the one to reach out first for friendship

I don't actively go out of my way to avoid people. I don't not not like them, it's just if it has nothing to do with me I feel no reason to get involved. Experience has made me feel this way.
I love my close group of people, my friends and family.

I am like the person that is in-between. I can adjust to any situation that I found myself as long as those involved are comfortable with me being around them.

When we split between loner and people person, I would have to say that I am in between. Some days I want to be left alone to get on with things and just be by myself and other times I want the company of friends.

Definitely a loner. I’m not real social. Honestly have a hard time in that department. But also depends on the people I’m around. I tend to be rather quiet and shy.

In real life, I'm mostly a loner due to my intolerance and lack of trust towards others. I rarely hangout with anyone outside of work, family, and my marriage.

Definitely a loner. But I am also on the autism spectrum which means that I have a degree of difficulty in social situations anyway. I would describe myself as asocial and a misanthrope. I really don't like people at all.
