Yes and no. It has its' advantages, no question, but the more we rely on it and further it develops, the more of a risk it becomes.

I've talked to a few people over the years and some of them really do believe something like the Skynet could happen.

Me? Puh-lease. I don't think we'd ever have that happen. A machine gives back what it's programmed to do.

I think it can be good for society though I think giving the AI's too much power can be a major issue and could be very dangerous. So though it can help up and be good, it can also be very bad if we give them too much power.

Yep it's good, and I happily embrace our robot overlords. We - humanity - had our chance and we blew it.
